Data Center Engineer

As a Data Centre Engineer at IMC, you will be joining a dynamic team of highly motivated professionals who strive to be the best at what they do by continuously learning, innovating, and improving. You will be working alongside a highly collaborative team in a high performance and technical environment. IMC will be investing in you from day one to grow and develop within the Infrastructure team.    

• →Manage IMC’s data centres with frequent travelling across APAC
• →Coordinate projects with our IT teams in Sydney
• →Provide racking and patching services in our remote data centres
• →Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, installation, etc.
• →Coordinate remote work with our brokers and exchanges
• →Procurement through our standard suppliers and global vendors
• →Data centre administration
• →On-site troubleshooting
• →Project Management

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure roles;
• Datacentre management experience;
• Strong project management and organisational skills;
• Good verbal and written communication in English is a must; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Linux server experience and networking skills highly regarded;
• Good understanding of hardware and hardware trends;
• Flexibility to travel frequently, including during weekends;
• Strong investigative analysis skills;
• The ability to think critically in a high-paced, constantly changing environment; a sense of urgency is a must;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to leverage your colleagues’ s strengths with your own;
