Inventory Control Supervisor (Shift 1)

This role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment.  The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex.  This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.

• →Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of experience will be considered
• →5+ years of relevant experience
• →Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and SAP
• →Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience, preferably in a progressive operational setting
• →Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environment
• →Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• →Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, inventory accuracy, and cost savings
• →Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
• →Ability to analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions
• →Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow processes
• →Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and operational improvements to a variety of stakeholders
• →Self-motivated leader with a positive attitude, high energy level, and a proactive approach to problem solving

• Ability to review, interpret, and communicate information from technical publications, financial reports, and legal documents
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond effectively to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and business partners
• Ability to present information clearly and professionally to all levels of management
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Jabil systems and business applications
• Strong mathematical aptitude, including calculations involving percentages, ratios, and other business-related metrics. Working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in situations with limited standardization
• Capable of interpreting and following written, verbal, diagram-based, and schedule-driven instructions
• Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics operations, and supply chain practices
• Ability to assess operational requirements and implement strategies that support business objectives
• Solid financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive operational decisions
• Knowledge of international trade practices, customs requirements, and applicable tax regulations
• Demonstrated success leading change initiatives, improving productivity, and reducing costs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships
