Accounting Manager

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

1. →Maintain compliance with government agencies
2. →Act as the point of contact for Accountants/Clients
3. →Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
4. →Direct supervision of all accounting and administrative personnel
5. →Timely financial reports that reflect all of the activity of the company and all associated entities, Real Estate LLCs, JVs, Deal accounting
6. →Responsible for weekly dashboard for all key managers for key indicators only • For the President, a daily cash report with all current asset and liabilities accounted for and work with him to put together a meaningful dashboard
7. →IT is functioning properly and we are having regular discussions regarding improvement
8. →All regular/day to day accounting functions are being performed properly and on time including payroll, A/P and A/R
9. →The timely and accurate filing of sales and ad valorem tax returns
10. →Has all systems in place for assuring safety and security for all assets, including cash in particular
11. →Work with outside accountants and President to make decisions as are necessary within the accounting function Qualifications
12. →Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
13. →Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
14. →GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
