As the Senior Analyst of Brand Analytics, you will support our Brand Operations team with rigorous, item-level analysis! Sitting within Strategic Planning, you will own the recurring analysis our teams rely on to understand SKU counts, item-level profitability, design productivity, and pricing strategies. You will operate in a hands-on, build-it-yourself environment, leveraging strong technical skills in SQL and modern BI platforms to interpret data and communicate clear findings to a non-technical audience. Come join one of the world's biggest toy-making companies and help us shape the future of play!

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Brand Operations to analyze SKU counts, POS data, and design productivity, identifying candidates for rationalization and informing go/no-go decisions on future designs

  • Build and maintain item-level profitability analyses to flag margin risks by incorporating cost, wholesale price, and licensing/royalty inputs

  • Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis across products and categories, including price point comparisons, gap analysis, and the implications of packaging or assortment changes

  • Build and maintain Sigma dashboards to provide Brand Operations with self-serve, ongoing visibility into productivity, profitability, and pricing trends

  • Write and maintain SQL (Spark SQL / Databricks) queries to support both recurring and ad hoc analytics requests within tight reporting cycles

  • Support new item planning by sizing SKU proliferation risk, flagging margin-eroding SKUs, and providing specific consolidation recommendations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisor Responsibilities: No

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail/CPG analytics, business intelligence, or brand/marketing analytics

  • Advanced SQL skills (Spark SQL or Databricks experience strongly preferred) with hands-on experience building in a modern BI platform (Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot and complex formulas

  • Process-oriented and detail-oriented mindset with strong quantitative intuition and comfort working at the most granular level of high-volume data

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights for non-technical brand and marketing audiences

  • A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple concurrent workstreams and adapt quickly within a fast-changing organization

Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field is a plus

  • Prior experience in the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries (as a supplier or retailer)

  • Experience with syndicated data sources (such as Circana) and retailer POS portals (such as Walmart Luminate/Scintilla or Target Partners Online)

  • Direct experience utilizing Sigma for BI dashboarding
