Under routine supervision, the Remote Security Coordinator facilitates gate transactions at J.B. Hunt locations that have a Remote Security Operations (RSO) presence. This role is responsible for protecting company assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. The incumbent creates accurate logs of gate transactions, assists individuals entering/exiting facilities, and reports suspicious activity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• →High school diploma or GED with up to 1 year of experience in security, logistics, or related field, and/or suitable combination of education, experience, and training, or military equivalent
• →AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
• →Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• →Interest in learning new technologies/software applications
• →Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms with accuracy

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
