As a trailer technician I, you are responsible for performing basic maintenance, service and repair to J.B. Hunt trailers, containers, chassis and other equipment. Under close supervision, you will conduct fleet maintenance to ensure that our equipment meets J.B. Hunt standards at all times.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1 year of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or military equivalent At least 1 year of experience in DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes Basic welding skills (MIG and stick )
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficient computer skills and/or comfortable working with a computer, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively
Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds)
Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)

This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
