Accountant

  Own end-to-end accounting for assigned legal entities, including invoice posting/payments, accruals, month-end close and reconciliations

• →

  Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• →

  Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

• →

  Manage accounts receivable, cash management, and liquidity planning

• →

  Prepare statutory financial statements in cooperation with local in-country support

• →

  Lead statutory audit management and support group audit requirements for your respective entities

• →

  Identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities within the accounting function

• →

  Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

To be successful in the role you will bring: 

• →

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• →

  5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

• →

  Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA

• →

  Solid working knowledge of IFRS. Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) is a plus.

• →

  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• →

  Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to process improvement/automation

• →

  Experience with VAT and CIT processes is essential

• →

  Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• →

  Strong ethical standards and integrity.
