Direct Care Worker - Part Time Floater

JEVS is one of the largest and most respected non-profits in the Philadelphia area, dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. We’re looking for compassionate, dependable, and flexible individuals to join our Community Living & Home Supports (CLHS) team as Direct Care Workers.

• → Provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual, physical, and/or behavioral disabilities, promoting dignity, choice, independence, and self-determination.
• →Assist with daily living and personal care, including meals, bathing, dressing, toileting, household tasks, medication administration, and other needs based on the individual’s support plan.
• →Support community involvement and skill development by accompanying individuals to appointments, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and other community experiences.
• →Maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment, while implementing individualized service plans, behavioral strategies, and health and safety procedures.
• →Document and communicate effectively by completing required records, monitoring and reporting changes in individuals’ health or behavior, and working collaboratively with supervisors and the individual’s support team.
