• →Provide engaging, hands-on instruction aligned with the curriculum and your area of expertise.
• →Teach students the fundamentals, techniques, tools, and best practices of your trade.
• →Supervise students during hands-on shop activities and provide guidance as they develop their skills.
• →Evaluate student performance through hands-on activities, assignments, and knowledge-based testing.
• →Prepare and adapt instructional materials to support effective learning.
• →Use a variety of teaching methods, demonstrations, and media to keep students engaged throughout the class day.
• →Bring real-world industry experience into the classroom by sharing practical knowledge, workplace expectations, and safety practices.
• →Maintain a safe, professional, clean, and organized classroom and shop environment.
• →Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate grade and performance records.
• →Reinforce classroom, shop, and school policies and address concerns appropriately.
• →Coordinate the ordering of supplies and materials needed for instruction.
• →Perform other related duties and assignments as needed.

• Approximately 3 years of hands-on professional experience in the applicable trade.
• Strong knowledge of trade practices, tools, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts in a way that students can understand.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safety, professionalism, and creating a positive learning environment.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus, but not required. We’re looking for skilled tradespeople who are excited to share what they know.
