Company Overview
JGM is a national, self-perform industrial contractor and structural steel fabricator, built to take on the fast-track, high-complexity projects other companies turn away. Founded in 2001 and still family-led today, JGM operates AISC- and ASME-certified fabrication shops in Coatesville and Sinking Spring, PA, plus a national Construction Services team performing erection, rigging, hauling, and industrial construction for Fortune 500 clients across power generation, pharmaceutical, mining, steel and metals, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
We don't subcontract our workforce. We build it, direct-hire, from the shop floor to the field to the front office. Safety comes first in every role at JGM, not just on the job site, because taking care of our people is something we'll never compromise on. With real apprenticeship and leadership programs behind every role, JGM offers more than a job: it's a career with a company where family is our foundation and whatever it takes is how we get it done.
Position Overview
At JGM, a Processing Foreman is primarily focused on working with and through their crew of Operators by building and maintaining strong working relationships. The Processing Foreman creates a positive, disciplined work environment aligned with JGM values and maintains clear, consistent communication with the Plant Superintendent and leadership regarding needs and constraints.
This role owns the processing operation, from equipment scheduling and uptime to programming, quality, and crew development, ensuring material moves through the shop safely, accurately, and on schedule. The Processing Foreman is expected to lead with a lean mindset: eliminating waste, standardizing the best-known method, and improving flow a little every day.
Our Processing Foreman must be genuinely interested in the needs of management, their crew, and our clients, in an environment that is fast paced but never at the sacrifice of best-in-class safety and quality standards.
You'll lead a crew running a modern, crane-served processing bay with industry-leading CNC drilling, cutting, coping, and plate processing equipment.
