Responsibilities

  • →Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety equipment.
  • →Complete preventive maintenance tasks and respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner with minimal disruption to building occupants.
  • →Monitor building systems performance, record operational readings, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment efficiency.
  • →Maintain accurate CMMS records for maintenance activities, equipment updates, and system performance.
  • →Inspect and maintain mechanical, structural, plumbing, control, and safety systems to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
  • →Support inventory management by tracking parts, tools, and equipment and submitting replacement requests as needed.
  • →Assist facility leadership during emergency situations including fire alarms, hazardous conditions, and system failures while following established safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of college coursework or related trade school training.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in either the electrical trade, HVAC/refrigeration trade, or a related technical field.
  • Universal CFC certification required.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
  • Ability to safely perform physical job duties including lifting up to 80 lbs., climbing ladders, navigating rooftops, and working in physically demanding environments.


  • Experience working in commercial real estate, industrial, healthcare, or campus environments.
  • Multi-skilled technical background across several building trades.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of energy management and sustainability best practices within building operations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications.
  • Experience responding to emergency building situations and supporting critical operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

66,400.00 – 96,200.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
