Credit Controller

• →Issuing demands on regular and ad-hoc basis as per conditions included in the lease agreements

• →Collection of arrears from tenants.

• →Follow up on overdue payments and execute collections strategies to ensure timely debt recovery.

• →Preparing regular reports on aging, unallocated cash and outstanding balances.

• →Analyse customer payment patterns and provide recommendations for improving collection performance.

• →Identify potential risk areas and implement strategies to mitigate credit risks.

• →Liaise with property managers and tenants to resolve disputes efficiently.

• →Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

• →Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding credit control matters.

• →Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role preferably in Real Estate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A can-do attitude and ability to ‘own’ responsibilities and processes

• Accounting/Lease Administration knowledge will be an added advantage

• Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
