Facility Coordinator

• →Negotiate and determine best price with vendors.
• →Provide quotes to finance.
• →Track vendor performance and ongoing service to determine best resources for our department.
• →Use the maintenance system to maintain tracking and data integrity.
• →Act as point of contact for all questions or issues concerning vender repairs.
• →Track and file all information including invoices, payment statements, documentation reflecting all invoices and payments made for our partners and vendors.
• →Send equipment out for repair and calibration as required.
• →Respond effectively to all emergencies.
• →Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• →Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• →Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• →Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• →Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• →Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.
• →Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• +3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• +3 years in carpentry, sheet metal work, and general building maintenance techniques
• Strong understanding of the equipment and maintenance supplies required in all aspects of the maintenance and facilities department.
• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, operate power tools, and perform overhead work
• Able to work on roofs of buildings
• Completion of written documentation
• Subject to call 24 hours per day and required to work in all weather conditions

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills (spread sheets, reports)
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service orientation
• Conflict resolution skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Onsite - East Syracuse, NY
