As an Operating Engineer at JLL, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the operational excellence of critical facility systems across our client properties. This hands-on position requires demonstrated technical expertise in one primary craft area—whether Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations—while developing multi-skilled capabilities across other trades to successfully execute daily and weekly assignments. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees, and your technical proficiency will be essential to delivering the reliable, high-performance environments our clients expect. You'll take ownership of comprehensive facility services including preventative maintenance programs, inventory control, contractor coordination, and hands-on repairs across mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and this role offers the autonomy to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, make critical operational adjustments, and ensure all systems operate at optimum performance levels. Your dedication to maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient facilities will directly impact the comfort and safety of building occupants while advancing your technical career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
