Minimum of four years of experience in the building maintenance industry, along with an accredited trade school degree in HVAC, electronics, or other industry-related trade (union training and certification also acceptable)
Universal CFC certification
Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools including ladders, lifts, basic hand tools, volt meters, manual drain augers, plumbers helpers, safety goggles, ear protection, and fire extinguishers
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, specifications, and blueprints
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence clearly and accurately
Capability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats
Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly, and lift/move up to 50 pounds as needed
Willingness to work in environments with exposure to electrical shock risk, moving mechanical parts, and heights up to 30 feet

Background in multiple trade disciplines (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, controls, carpentry)
Experience working in commercial office building environments or critical facility operations
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance with hazardous materials handling procedures
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse groups
