Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HVAC systems, water chillers, pumps, motors, air handlers, and related mechanical equipment.
- →Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation system issues to ensure minimal operational downtime.
- →Utilize CMMS technology to manage work orders, document maintenance activities, and track system performance.
- →Monitor building operations and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and overall facility performance.
- →Coordinate with team members, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to support maintenance activities and respond to service requests.
- →Complete general building maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs, as required.
- →Maintain compliance with all applicable safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements while supporting a safe working environment.
Requirements
~1 min read- Valid state driver’s license maintained throughout employment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or related technical operations.
- Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including pumps, motors, air handlers, and building automation or controls systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, web-based systems, and handheld technology devices such as tablets or smartphones.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, occupants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of MEP and HVAC system design, operation, and application principles.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for maintenance tracking and work order management.
- Universal EPA 608 Certification.
- Familiarity with energy management systems and building automation technologies.
- Experience supporting government, institutional, or large commercial facilities.
- Understanding of energy efficiency initiatives, sustainability practices, or operational improvement programs.
