Transaction Management Summer 2027 Internship - Washington, DC

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Transaction Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will learn to abstract and analyze commercial lease documents, support high-volume lease transaction execution, and gain exposure to the commercial real estate transaction management process for a major federal government client.

As a Summer Intern in Transaction Analysis at JLL, you will:

• Data Entry and Validation: Perform data entry, data validation, and data organization to support the transaction management team.
• Administrative and Operational Support: Provide general administrative and operational support to Transaction Managers executing lease transactions.
• Lease Document Analysis: Abstract, analyze, and interpret commercial lease documents related to USPS facility leases.
• Lease Document Drafting: Draft commercial lease documents under the direction and oversight of your assigned TM.
• Client and Landlord Interaction: Interact occasionally with the client and landlord to support transaction execution.
• Process Improvement: Proactively and preemptively identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Error Reduction: Proactively and preemptively work to reduce errors and mistakes.

• Dates: June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027
• Location: Washington, DC | In-Person

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 3 years completed majoring in business or a related field.
• Ability to exhibit very high attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Conversancy with the MS Office Suite—MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, etc.
• Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative information.
• "Self-starter" mentality and an ability to "connect the dots" to solve problems using logic and intuition.
• Ability to work within a team and on an individual basis.
• Ability to interpret and set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume, detail-oriented environment.
• Ability to take direction from others and be coachable.
• Real estate license is a plus.
• Familiarity and knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial lease documents is a plus.
• Familiarity with CoStar and CREM is a plus.

We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.
