Utility Person

As a Utility Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's facility in Pasadena operates smoothly and safely. Working closely with the Facility Manager and Facility Maintenance Engineer, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks, manage warehouse stock and supplies, and support daily operations to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This hands-on position is essential to delivering exceptional service and contributing to JLL's commitment to operational excellence.

• →Assist with completing Preventative Maintenance on HVAC systems and other site equipment.
• →Perform light building maintenance including filter replacement, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and waste management.
• →Maintain spare and replacement parts inventories; stock parts, equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance and housekeeping departments.
• →Receive, process, and organize warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• →Collect and properly dispose of production waste and recycling according to site standards.
• →Coordinate with vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
• →Operate maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment including general hand tools, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse operations, or production support.
• Experience with general hand tools, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Forklift and mobile equipment operation experience.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing 25+ pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with facility safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and work order tracking.
