Janitorial Day Porter- Livonia

Our ideal Janitorial Day Porter will have some experience in the customer service or janitorial industry and is comfortable interacting with clients. They will have a great attendance record and will have a demonstrated record of good communication skills with customers and supervisors. A good eye for detail and the ability to work independently is a must.

This position is primarily during daytime hours but candidates should expect to be flexible. You may be assigned to a single site or multiple sites that may be in a localized area. This position is hourly and reports to the Field Manager

• →Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks as defined by the scope of work. Cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• →Sweeping
• →Mopping
• →Cleaning/restocking restrooms
• →Dusting
• →Vacuuming
• →Trash and recycling removal
• →Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, etc.)
• →Promote and follow company and safety regulations and procedures
• →Respond appropriately to requests made by clients
• →Maintain communication with supervisors
• →Accurately record and submit time worked
• →Interact with clients and their customers (if applicable) with a high degree of professionalism

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation (may require travel between job sites)
• Ability to work independently and without constant supervision
• Good attendance record and ability to work a flexible schedule if needed
• Strong customer service skills
