Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of middle school environments, business, and management principles. Ability to direct, manage, implement, evaluate department operations, establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan, effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others, and the ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.


Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in education. Certification in education and/or special education. Experience with teaching students with and without learning differences in a combined classroom setting. Experience with intensive reading programs, coaching teachers. Experience with students with or at-risk for reading disabilities. Experience with implementing and collecting classroom level assessment data.
