Area Director of Revenue Management

This role leads revenue strategy and performance across a cluster of hotels in the Tampa market. You will develop and execute pricing, room sales, inventory, distribution, and channel strategies designed to maximize occupancy and profitability across multiple properties. The position combines commercial analysis with cross-functional leadership, requiring close collaboration with hotel teams and key stakeholders. You will monitor booking patterns, market segments, competitive activity, forecasts, and financial performance to identify opportunities and drive results. The role also includes leading weekly revenue meetings and developing actionable short- and long-term strategies. As a remote leader, you will independently support multiple properties while maintaining strong internal and external relationships. The position requires candidates to be based in the Eastern Zone and includes occasional to moderate travel.
Manage room rates and availability in accordance with established guidelines to optimize occupancy, revenue, and overall property profitability.
Develop, communicate, and implement sales strategies, business mix strategies, channel management approaches, pricing strategies, and reservations-related policies.
Prepare and lead weekly Revenue Management meetings covering rate and inventory strategies, transient and group booking pace, competitive business analysis, and financial forecasts.
Develop short- and long-term revenue forecasts and prepare weekly and monthly performance critiques to identify opportunities and recommend strategies for improving revenue and profitability.
Analyze booking trends, pickup, no-shows, source markets, and other demand indicators to inform revenue decisions.
Manage and monitor rate strategy tiers, booking pace by market segment, GDS performance, inventory levels, and monthly revenue results.
Collaborate with different departments to align commercial objectives and implement action plans that support optimal revenue management performance.
Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates while ensuring performance aligns with applicable hotel or brand standards.
Work independently in a remote environment while coordinating revenue-management activities across multiple properties.
Follow applicable workplace safety practices and required OSHA and MSDS standards.
Perform additional responsibilities and revenue-management activities as assigned by management.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel revenue-management principles, including pricing, inventory, forecasting, distribution, segmentation, and demand analysis.
Have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret booking trends, competitive information, forecasts, and financial results.
Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across multiple properties and departments.
Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing priorities across several properties.
Demonstrate leadership, coaching, organization, and decision-making skills.
Be able to build and maintain meaningful relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Be comfortable working at a computer for extended periods and performing occasional physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Be willing and able to travel occasionally to moderately as required.
