Backend Engineer I

• Professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js and building REST APIs.

• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL, including experience working with APIs consumed by other applications.

• Understanding of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with observability concepts and tools such as Datadog and Elasticsearch.

• Understanding of fundamental software architecture and backend development best practices.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, n8n, or comparable solutions.

• Academic or professional experience with agile methodologies and a strong willingness to learn and grow through challenging projects.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.

• Experience with distributed systems, high-volume data environments, or production troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of API versioning, API lifecycle management, and technical documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Understanding of API security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.

• Backend experience with TypeScript and frameworks such as NestJS or Fastify.
