We are seeking an experienced residential transition lending professional to lead the growth of a national construction and fix-and-flip lending channel. In this role, you will serve as a key technical and business development resource, helping sales teams identify opportunities, structure competitive financing solutions, and increase funded loan production. You will collaborate with account executives, brokers, correspondent lenders, builders, real estate investors, and lending partners to support transactions from initial evaluation through funding. Your expertise in residential bridge lending, ground-up construction, and fix-and-flip financing will help improve loan quality, operational efficiency, and partner satisfaction. You will also play a critical role in strengthening industry relationships, expanding product adoption, and developing sales capabilities across a nationwide network. This remote leadership opportunity combines strategic business development, hands-on deal support, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic mortgage lending environment.

  • Serve as the primary resource for construction and fix-and-flip lending scenarios, reviewing prospective transactions, assessing initial eligibility, recommending appropriate loan structures, and establishing clear expectations early in the process.
  • Partner with account executives on client meetings, sales presentations, and discussions with builders, real estate investors, brokers, and correspondent lending partners.
  • Identify and develop construction, bridge, and fix-and-flip opportunities within existing broker and correspondent relationships to expand business volume and strengthen client retention.
  • Coordinate closely with internal sales teams and external lending partners across sales, credit, and operations to facilitate loan progression from submission through underwriting and funding.
  • Proactively identify potential obstacles, resolve transaction issues, and improve loan pull-through rates, processing efficiency, and turnaround times.
  • Develop new business relationships nationally with mortgage brokers, correspondent lenders, builders, and real estate investors to expand the residential transition lending network.
  • Train and support account executives on construction and fix-and-flip products, underwriting guidelines, eligibility criteria, and effective sales positioning.
  • Increase awareness and adoption of the construction lending platform across the sales organization by sharing product knowledge, market insights, and successful deal strategies.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, conversion rates, funded loan production, and performance against annual growth targets.
  • Prepare performance reports, communicate results to relevant stakeholders, and recommend program enhancements based on production trends, partner feedback, and operational performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lending partners and clients by ensuring timely communication, effective coordination, and a high standard of service throughout the lending process.
