Instructional DesignerEducation & Training

This is an opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Instructional Designer to create engaging, scalable learning experiences for complex FinTech and SaaS products. You will own complete learning journeys from initial concept through development, quality assurance, and delivery, translating technical workflows into clear, practical, learner-focused experiences. Working in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment, you will combine instructional design expertise with modern authoring tools and generative AI. Your projects will include new learning programs, redesigned legacy content, interactive simulations, and persona-driven microlearning. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, subject matter experts, and product teams while managing multiple projects independently. This individual contributor role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise product training and drive measurable improvements in learner engagement, adoption, and performance.

As an Instructional Designer, you will lead the design and development of end-to-end learning experiences, balancing creative execution, instructional strategy, and efficient production workflows.

  • Design and build complete learning journeys aligned with real business workflows and measurable performance outcomes.

  • Develop storyboards, learning flows, and design packages that provide clear direction for scalable development.

  • Transform outdated learning materials into modern, engaging, visually compelling, and learner-centered experiences.

  • Create and maintain reusable design systems, frameworks, prompt libraries, templates, and development models.

  • Design interactive facilitator-led and live virtual learning sessions, including participant materials and facilitation guides.

  • Develop persona-driven microlearning, simulations, branching scenarios, and gamified interactions to improve engagement and knowledge retention.

  • Build courses primarily in Articulate Storyline and use Articulate Rise when rapid, streamlined development is appropriate.

  • Integrate video, animation, and other multimedia elements to create cohesive learning experiences.

  • Customize existing templates to improve instructional flow, usability, and learner engagement.

  • Manage course compliance, tracking, and quality assurance within Docebo or the designated Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Work within AI-assisted production workflows using Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Projects, Gemini, and NotebookLM to accelerate outlining, content drafting, prototyping, file population, and revision.

  • Review, validate, and refine all AI-generated outputs, applying professional judgment and instructional design expertise before delivery.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure learning content reflects business objectives, technical accuracy, and measurable outcomes.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, speed, and delivery deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Follow established service-level agreements (SLAs) and milestone-based workflows, from storyboard development through production, QA, and final approval.

  • Experience creating reusable learning content, templates, frameworks, and scalable design solutions.

  • Solid understanding of learning science principles, including cognitive load, Bloom's Taxonomy, the forgetting curve, spaced reinforcement, behavior change, motivation, and microlearning.

  • Comfortable working in Agile methodologies and fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and bring structure to ambiguous projects.

  • A portfolio is mandatory. Candidates must provide a portfolio link and password, if applicable, showcasing relevant work.
