Working across a complex, global matrix, you will align internal teams and external partners around shared priorities and portfolio objectives.
Your leadership will contribute to more patient-centric, diverse, efficient, and high-quality clinical research programs.
This remote, field-based opportunity is designed for an experienced healthcare leader who can influence at the highest levels and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

  • Identify high-performing clinical research sites and site organizations based on therapeutic-area requirements and strategic priorities.

  • Build, develop, and nurture long-term business-to-business partnerships with research sites and networks, including relationships with C-suite and governance-level stakeholders.

  • Serve as the enterprise point of contact for strategic site partners, developing customized engagement models that create value for both parties.

  • Provide operational guidance focused on transparency, tailored support, senior leadership access, quality, and effective service delivery.

  • Work closely with strategic partnership leadership and cross-functional teams to implement regional site partnership strategies aligned with global objectives.

  • Develop partnerships that combine the strengths, resources, and capabilities of participating organizations to accelerate clinical development and improve outcomes.

  • Partner with clinical development and site operations teams to reduce the time required for trial startup activities and improve execution efficiency.

  • Collaborate on new innovations, capabilities, and quality standards that strengthen the clinical research partnership model.

  • Lead regular discussions with C-suite contacts, identify emerging opportunities, and strengthen executive-level relationships.

  • Establish productive relationships with key internal and external decision-makers to facilitate alignment, resolve challenges, and achieve mutual objectives.

  • Develop proactive strategies for addressing enterprise-level concerns, mitigating risks, and maintaining high partner satisfaction.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs for strategic partners and site networks, using performance data and annual assessments to drive operational excellence and inform future partnership decisions.

  • Influence, guide, and collaborate with colleagues across functions to deliver meaningful outcomes and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent, in a medical, scientific, technical, or healthcare-related discipline.

  • 12+ years of broad experience in drug development, clinical trial conduct, global clinical trial operations, or a related healthcare environment, with progressive experience in senior leadership roles.

  • Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and clinical trial operations.

  • Sufficient therapeutic-area expertise to engage credibly in discussions with healthcare professionals and clinical research stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and influencing C-suite decision-makers within the healthcare sector.

  • Proven experience managing complex business-to-business relationships with healthcare systems, research organizations, or strategic partners.

  • Experience establishing, negotiating, and managing complex strategic contracts and partnership arrangements.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to systematically evaluate, prioritize, and pursue multiple strategic opportunities.

  • Data-driven leadership capabilities, including experience using KPIs, metrics, and analytics to establish accountability and improve organizational performance.

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated results orientation, persistence, sound judgment, and strong follow-through.

  • Ability to operate successfully within a complex, matrixed organization and collaborate effectively across clinical development, country operations, and site operations teams.

  • Proven ability to manage yourself effectively, drive results independently, and adapt to ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

  • Strong leadership experience, including influencing peers, coaching others, and guiding colleagues toward meaningful outcomes.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional local-language capabilities are advantageous.

  • Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

✓Annual base salary range of $214,900–$358,100 USD, depending on location, qualifications, experience, and other applicable factors.
