Senior Application Specialist – Oracle Fusion

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Specialist – Oracle Fusion to support, develop, configure, and optimize enterprise applications across a range of business functions. In this role, you will help maintain the stability, scalability, and performance of Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions while improving business processes and operational efficiency. You will work across modules such as ERP, HCM, and SCM, contributing to application enhancements, integrations, reporting, and technical troubleshooting. Collaborating with Agile teams, business stakeholders, and technical specialists, you will transform business requirements into reliable, high-quality solutions. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, continuous improvement, and the adoption of emerging technologies. • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. At least five years of relevant professional experience is required, including a minimum of three years of Oracle Fusion ERP experience. Additional enterprise application development experience is advantageous.

• Oracle Fusion Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or enhancing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. Familiarity with ERP, HCM, SCM, and Procurement modules, as well as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), OIC, FDI, VBCS, and Redwood technologies, is highly relevant.

• Technical Development Skills: Strong experience with enterprise application development, database technologies, CRUD operations, database design, and performance tuning. Familiarity with PL/SQL and multiple programming languages, frameworks, and application interfaces is beneficial.

• Integration and Reporting Capabilities: Practical experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, REST and SOAP APIs, and enterprise application integrations. The ability to troubleshoot data flows, support migrations, and maintain reliable connections between systems is important.

• Application Architecture and Quality: Knowledge of application design patterns, architectural standards, unit and integration testing, acceptance testing, automated testing, and test-driven development. Ability to assess alternative technical approaches and design maintainable, scalable solutions.

• Enterprise Implementation and Support: Experience with ERP or HCM implementations, application support, managed services, system upgrades, and production issue resolution. Strong understanding of business processes associated with the relevant Oracle modules is essential.

• Agile Methodology: Experience working effectively in an Agile development environment, preferably Scrum. Familiarity with Agile practices and change management is expected; Agile certification is an advantage.

• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to resolve moderately complex technical challenges independently and escalate issues appropriately.

• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and nontechnical teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and build productive stakeholder relationships.

• Leadership and Mentoring: A proactive, self-directed approach, with a willingness to share expertise, mentor colleagues, support team development, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

• Professional Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are preferred. Oracle Certified Expert credentials in Fusion modules are desirable but not required.

• Preferred Additional Experience: Seven years of information systems experience, including four years directly developing enterprise-grade applications, is preferred. Experience across multiple business domains and the ability to connect technical decisions with operational needs will be an advantage.
