We are seeking an experienced monitoring, evaluation, learning, and impact professional to strengthen the evidence base for feminist-led humanitarian responses and locally driven initiatives. In this role, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of a monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) strategy for a global fund supporting women’s rights organizations and feminist civil society groups. You will transform qualitative and quantitative data into meaningful insights that demonstrate impact, inform decision-making, and support accountability to partners and donors. Working across international teams, you will contribute to innovative reporting approaches, impact measurement, and knowledge sharing in complex humanitarian contexts. You will also build relationships with grantee partners and external research organizations to promote collaborative learning and stronger evaluation practices. This remote opportunity is ideal for a strategic, analytical, and values-driven professional committed to gender equality, feminist leadership, and locally led humanitarian action.

  • MEL framework and strategy: Lead the implementation and ongoing adaptation of the fund’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework, ensuring alignment with its grantmaking strategy, theory of change, and broader organizational learning priorities.

  • Tools and performance measurement: Design and implement tools, processes, and indicators to track progress and report outcomes to bilateral and philanthropic donors, including international development and humanitarian funding institutions.

  • Continuous improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen MEL frameworks, data collection methods, analytical tools, and reporting processes in line with humanitarian sector best practices and donor requirements.

  • External partnerships: Manage partnerships focused on learning and impact measurement, including third-party monitoring initiatives, evaluations, research collaborations, and relationships with think tanks and researchers.

  • Data collection and validation: Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data from grantee partners, translating field-level evidence into actionable insights.

  • Innovative reporting: Work with program and learning teams to pilot and refine alternative reporting approaches, including audio and video reporting, instructional videos, and more accessible reporting tools and formats.

  • Impact analysis and knowledge management: Implement data analysis strategies to assess aggregate and thematic or regional outcomes related to gender equality, and contribute to compelling impact stories, narratives, and knowledge products.

  • Grantmaking data and reporting: Support quarterly grantmaking statistics updates, review milestone, progress, and final reports, and help strengthen data collection processes for measuring the impact of women's and feminist funds' accompaniment models.

  • Systems improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development and use of Salesforce for monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, ensuring data processes remain effective and aligned with reporting needs.

  • Donor and institutional reporting: Lead the preparation of internal briefs, external donor reports, annual reports, performance measurement frameworks, and other reporting and communication materials, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

  • Dissemination of findings: Present and share impact data, crisis-related insights, and key learnings through reports, presentations, talking points, partner feedback sessions, internal knowledge libraries, proposals, and joint advocacy initiatives.

  • Partner capacity strengthening: Support grantee partners in developing their MEL capabilities by contributing to webinars, sharing program insights, and responding to specific learning and evaluation support needs.

  • Cross-organizational collaboration: Act as the primary link between the fund's secretariat and the wider Learning & Impact team, contributing to organization-wide learning initiatives, participatory grantmaking approaches, and internal impact resources.

  • Ethical and respectful practice: Uphold policies and professional standards that promote a safe, respectful, accountable, and inclusive working environment.
