This is a strategic, commercially focused role at the intersection of IT solutions, procurement, supplier management, and complex bid delivery. You will help shape competitive solutions that support major sales opportunities while improving commercial outcomes and supplier value. Working across sales, operations, customers, partners, and internal solution teams, you will coordinate stakeholders from opportunity through successful deployment. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, particularly in high-pressure, complex sales environments. You will influence commercial decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and design value-added approaches that improve margins and delivery outcomes. Fully remote and aligned with UK office hours, the role offers the opportunity to work across international markets and complex, multi-partner IT environments.

Develop commercially competitive solutions and negotiated supplier costs that support successful bids, improve margins, and strengthen overall commercial performance.

Act as a key interface between Sales, Operations, customers, prospects, partners, and internal solution teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

Lead and coordinate complex and major bids, managing the formal bid communication process and bringing together virtual bid teams to maximize opportunities for success.

Provide timely responses and effective follow-up to multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.

Develop creative, value-added solutions that address customer requirements while achieving strong commercial and operational outcomes.

Provide technical and product expertise during sales engagements, acting as a subject matter expert and translating customer requirements into viable solutions.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, stronger service performance, improved working practices, and sustainable value.

Support solution activities across bid management, customer account management, operational management, service management, supplier management, transition, and project delivery.

Coordinate transition solutions involving IT outsourcing, desktop and hardware deployment, service transition, global audits, logistics, procurement, and stock management.

Manage multiple solutions and projects simultaneously, including international engagements delivered across several countries and through multiple partners.

Drive continuous improvement by aligning internal and supplier capabilities, identifying operational synergies, and developing effective ways of working.

Influence stakeholders and suppliers without relying on formal authority, resolving conflicts and building mutually beneficial outcomes.

Monitor external market developments, technology trends, and changes in the IT services landscape to inform solution design and supplier strategies.

Delegate responsibilities effectively and maintain clear ownership across virtual and matrix-managed teams.

Ensure solutions are aligned with customer expectations, operational capabilities, commercial objectives, and the technologies underpinning the service portfolio.
Requirements

Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification; MCIPS qualification is advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in influencing, negotiation, and delivering solutions within matrix-managed environments.

Proven experience in the IT field services industry, particularly hardware remedial services and related service delivery environments.

Experience across several relevant disciplines, including bid management, customer account management, operational management, service management, supplier management, transition management, and project management.

Previous experience working within complex, multicultural, international, and matrix-managed organizations.

Strong supplier-management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to use strategic supplier relationships to improve cost control, service quality, operational practices, and performance.

Strong results orientation, with a sense of urgency and the resilience to overcome obstacles and deliver against challenging objectives.

Strategic and visionary thinking, with the ability to develop supplier-selection and management strategies and translate them into clear, actionable business objectives.

Strong understanding of IT outsourcing, desktop and hardware deployment, service transition, logistics, procurement, stock management, and global audit activities.

Experience managing multiple solutions or projects concurrently across different countries, customers, and delivery partners.

Broad understanding of IT technologies, market trends, product developments, and the technology underpinning managed IT services.
