Call for CVs: Technical Consultants – Talent Pool

Jhpiego works in over 30 countries. Jhpiego is sourcing a surge pool of Project Management Consultants to contribute to the start-up and delivery, of short-term public health projects (e.g., maternal health, newborn health, child health, nutrition, malaria, HIV, immunizations, global health security)

Selected candidates will undertake a range of duties including:

• →Start-up:
• →
  • →Human centered design to design priority interventions
  • →Partner with in-country team members, national government and partners to design technical approach and inputs for the project work plans
• →Implementation
  • →Discrete scopes of work to implement  technical components of the work plan.  This could be in any of our technical areas of expertise (https://www.jhpiego.org/our-expertise), and support may include coaching, mentoring, advising governments, etc.
  • →Participate in meetings with government representatives and advise national technical working groups
  • →Draft reports

These candidates will form a part of the roster out of which Consultants will be selected by Jhpiego to work alongside project team on short- to long-term tasks. We will develop detailed scopes of work for each specific consultancy. These roles will mainly be based in the country where the project is being implemented.

Travel will be determined on an as-needed basis.

• Demonstrated experience with technical design and implementation with large (>$5M) public health interventions for multiple donors in Africa, Asia, and/or Latin America.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Certification in human centered design and coaching/mentoring preferred
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is desirable perferred.
