Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around the Little Rock, AR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, sketches, and project specifications
• Calculate dimensions and plan layouts for construction projects
• Measure, cut, shape, and install lumber, drywall, plastic, metal, and other materials
• Utilize tape measures, laser levels, hand tools, and power saws
• Construct structural frameworks, including walls, floor joists, roof trusses, staircases, and door frames
• Build and install concrete forms for various construction applications
• Install doors, window frames, trim, molding, cabinetry, countertops, and hardware
• Perform finish carpentry and detailed installation work
• Inspect damaged structures and perform repairs or replacements as needed
• Repair and replace framing, flooring, fixtures, and other carpentry components
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Previous carpentry experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with framing, concrete forms, trim work, and cabinetry installation preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
