Concrete Laborer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Concrete Laborers for projects located in or around Irondequoit, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Concrete Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside the best Craft Professionals in the industry, this is your chance to launch your career!

• Tear out and replace concrete sidewalks, driveways, patios, and foundations
• Assist with residential and apartment concrete construction projects
• Perform site preparation including debris removal, trench digging, soil grading, and sub-base compaction
• Build, align, and set wood or metal concrete forms
• Shovel, rake, and guide wet concrete into forms
• Use power vibrators to eliminate air pockets and ensure proper concrete placement
• Assist with surface finishing, expansion joint cutting, and application of curing or waterproofing sealants
• Dismantle forms and perform jobsite cleanup
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and company policies

• Experience in concrete construction preferred
• Must be clean-cut, professional, and dependable
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the workday
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods
• Experience using hand and power tools including shovels, trowels, screeds, saws, and jackhammers
• Knowledge of concrete formwork, placement, and finishing is a plus
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
