MIG Pipe welder

• Perform 6G pipe welding in a shop environment
• Weld Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe
• Complete short-circuit and RND root passes
• Perform pulse weld fill and cap procedures
• Fit and weld pipe assemblies according to project specifications
• Produce high-quality welds that meet ultrasonic testing (UT) requirements
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Previous MIG pipe welding experience 
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Experience with 6G pipe welding
• Experience welding 2" and larger pipe
• Experience with Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe
• Ability to perform root, fill, and cap welds to specification
• Experience producing welds subject to ultrasonic testing (UT)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
