Facility Janitor - 2nd Shift (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a 2nd Shift Faciliy Janitor for our Camarillo, CA location.

Hourly Rate (Non- Exempt): $18.00 - $19.00 + $.75 Shift Differential

Work Schedule: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Training Schedule (up t0 2 week): 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Six (6) months or more related experience
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Essential Functions:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Empty all recycling containers and place material in proper location
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Dust furniture, walls and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to do the following:

• Standing/Walking up to 90% of shift; Sitting up to 10% of shift.
• Bending/Twisting of neck and waist up to 90% of shift.
• Reaching above and/or below shoulder level up to 90% of shift.
• Lift, push, pull and/or move - up to 50 lbs. for 40% of shift.
• Simple hand grasping up to 100% of shift; Fine hand manipulation 10% of shift.
• Bending/Stooping/Squatting/Kneeling up to 90% of shift;
• Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
• Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
• Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
• Interact with co-workers to complete tasks.
• Perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
