ENROLLED NURSE - DURDOC
Quick Summary
To provide age appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and protocols.
- Must be competent with the hospitals policies and regulations.
- To ensure that theatre is always running at the highest standards.
- Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in theatre.
- Comply with SANC and stakeholder legislation.
Requirements

- Registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse with valid APC.
Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in theatre.
At least one (1) year experience with anaesthetics in theatre and circulating nurses experience is essential.
Good interpersonal skills with doctors, patients and colleagues are essential.
Must be prepared to work addition hours.
Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
Must be computer literate- MS Word & Excel.
Must be prepared to do shift- work (night shift/ day shift).
