Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems in multi-family residential properties to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of HVAC components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and coils.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
  • Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to coordinate HVAC service schedules and ensure minimal disruption to residents.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems.
  • Categorize and organize inventory to limit unnecessary losses to the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC repair and installation preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HVAC service technician, with a focus on multi-family residential properties.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.
