Data/Integration Engineer

JST is currently seeking a Data/Integration Engineer to support our team.

This is a full-time remote position. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This is a 3-month period of performance with potential for extension.

• →Builds the connection that brings transitioning members into the system from a personnel roster file and keeps that data clean.
• →Work with the customer's personnel office to define the roster file format.
• →Build parsing, field mapping, and validation for the incoming file.
• →Build matching and duplicate handling using the DoD ID number as the key.
• →Build exception handling and a view that shows data quality problems.
• →In the second phase, extend the same pattern to four more roster sources, each with a different owner and likely a different format.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Salesforce Certified Data Architect preferred
• ETL and file based data integration, data mapping and cleansing. Salesforce data loading.
• Experience with Department of Defense personnel data such as MilPDS, DEERS, or DMDC. Salesforce external objects.

• MUST be able to pass a US Government background check
