The Opportunity!

The Food Prep Worker will provide routine food preparation behind the scenes and customer assistance services throughout the restaurant. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
• Operates a food processor, vacuum sealer, meat/cheese slicer, juicer, and citrus machine to prepare specific items to be packaged for delivery.
• Clears, cleans, and sanitizes all working areas and returns to the appropriate location in the kitchen area per task lists.
• Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
• Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment.
• Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of working area.
• Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds at times.
• May be required work in cold areas for short time periods in association with the kitchen environment.
