Responsibilities

→Lead and supervise a team of Last Mile Delivery Operators/Associates to ensure timely and accurate execution of door delivery operations.
→Assign daily delivery tasks and routes based on workload, priorities, and customer requirements.
→Monitor driver-customer communication to ensure a positive delivery experience.
→Coach and develop delivery associates to improve day-to-day delivery productivity.
→Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
→Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, encouraging continuous improvement.
→Monitor team performance and KPIs, such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, closed success rate, and vehicle utilization, taking corrective action as needed.
→Promote road safety and risk mitigation practices among delivery teams.
→Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Warehouse Operations, Network, and Customer Service, to resolve delivery exceptions and escalations.
→Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
→Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance.
→Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Experience in logistics operations, transportation, or last-mile delivery services, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in technology tools for route planning, tracking, and reporting (e.g., GPS, route optimization software).
Must have NYSC Certificate or possess a valid exemption letter.
Candidate must be based in Port Harcourt.
