Juno organizes the buying power of admitted and current students to negotiate lower cost private loan options, at no cost to schools or students. Students simply join a waitlist, Juno secures discounts that are better than going directly to lenders, and students can check rates with no impact to their credit. We also provide 1:1 advising to thousands of students each year, helping them compare options with confidence.

  • Since 2018, Juno has helped 290k+ students and families access over $2B in funding at the lowest rates available.
  • In 2025, we estimate 14–15% of all private in‑school graduate lending flowed through Juno and are growing rapidly;

We are the most popular way to find a private student loan for the world's top graduate programs, and we're looking for a team to help the financial aid offices understand the value we bring to students and families.

Federal lending reforms have created a significant market shift. In July 2026, new caps on federal graduate loans, including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students, came into effect, leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent, competitive private options — exactly what Juno provides.

When a student hits that gap, they may ask a financial aid administrator. If that administrator has never heard of Juno, the student may never hear about us either.

We're seeking up to fourteen Regional Directors, each owning one territory. Your job is to (i) ensure the administrators are aware about Juno, (ii) trust Juno enough that their students are also made aware about Juno (through numerous means such as direct mention by an administrator, getting Juno listed as a resource on a school's website, into a school's webinar calendar, and/or admitted student and current student communications). We expect you to thoroughly evaluate Juno to ensure you understand us deeply, so you can answer any questions about Juno, how we operate and the outcomes our members have.

Responsibilities

  • Own a territory: Every financial aid office in it, and every relationship inside those offices. You build the plan, set the calendar, manage your budget and deliver results.
  • Build Relationships: Juno has tremendous value to add in the form of financial education and better loan products. Our model is different and we are not a lender. It can take time to gain full understanding and buy-in from the financial aid community. Keep showing up as a trustworthy voice.
  • Live in your associations: Membership, exhibiting, sessions, listservs, volunteer roles. This profession decides who's credible in person.
  • Get on campus: Conferences introduce; visits close. Six to eight campus swings a year.
  • Deliver webinars: Deliver institutional sessions from the standard deck. You don't have to write it, but you do have to practice it and run it like you did.
  • Keep your CRM true: Named contact, last touch, next step, on every active account. If it isn't in the CRM, it didn't happen.
  • Feed intel back: What competitors are offering, what's changing on campus, what students are actually asking. Product and marketing need it to help you succeed
  • Use AI as a multiplier: Institution research, RFI drafts, call prep, follow-up. Faster work, and you catch it when it's wrong.

What We Offer

~1 min read
Consultative patience: A listing / webinar etc. can take several touches and time to establish trust.
You can present: To a room of aid administrators and to a room of students, on the same trip.
You can write: RFI and RFP responses are how schools judge whether we're serious.
Regulatory literacy: You can answer compliance and regulation questions accurately in the room without overpromising, and you escalate rather than improvise. We'll train you; you have to want to know.
Self-management: You build your own plan across dozens of institutions with no daily supervision, and you're honest in your own pipeline.
Curiosity about the product: You want to understand how student lending actually works — federal versus private, what drives a rate, cosigners, deferral, refinancing — because you can't advise an aid officer on a product you don't understand.
Comfort with seasonality: Fall and spring decide the year. You plan for them months ahead and go all-in when they land.
Location and travel: You live in your territory. Roughly 30% travel estimated (more or less depends on your execution), concentrated in those two seasons.
  • You're the person they call: Aid officers ask your opinion on things you're not selling.
  • You're curious about the data: When a school says yes, your first instinct is to ask why — and whether the next school looks like it.
  • You close the loop: A campus visit isn't done until the notes are in the CRM and the next step has a date.
  • You're comfortable alone: You're the only Juno person in the building, and that's the part you like.
  • Real Impact: Help hundreds of thousands of students get access to the lowest rates on the market.
  • Market Timing: Federal aid changes create massive tailwind for growth.
  • Proven Model: $2B+ negotiated, 290K+ members.
  • Ground Floor: All new initiative. In most cases, you'll be the first Juno person your schools ever meet.
