Renewable Energy Technician (Tamheer)

Kafou Energy is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to support the installation, inspection, and maintenance of solar energy systems and energy efficiency projects. The technician will work on-site across various project locations, ensuring high-quality execution, system reliability, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems. Conduct routine and corrective maintenance for solar systems and related electrical components. Inspect systems, identify faults, and execute necessary repairs. Monitor system performance using specialized tools and provide detailed technical reports. Support site teams in daily operational tasks and assist during testing and commissioning activities. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure material availability and workflow continuity. Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures. Document daily tasks, field observations, and progress updates accurately. Requirements Diploma in Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field. Ability to work outdoors and travel between multiple project sites. Basic knowledge of reading electrical and mechanical drawings. Practical understanding of renewable energy systems, especially solar PV. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems in the field. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
