Key Responsibilities

  • Event Production and Technical Operations: Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and strike audio, video, lighting, and staging systems for meetings, conventions, expos, entertainment, galas, and resort programming. Operate audio consoles, wireless microphones, DSPs, playback, projection, LED displays, switchers, cameras, video distribution, and lighting controls. Support hybrid meetings, streaming, conferencing, and recording; assist with staging, truss, rigging, and overhead elements using event diagrams, schedules, equipment lists, and floorplans.
  • Convention Center Operations: Execute technical requirements in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), production orders, and exhibitor requests, including trade show floor operations, exhibitor power, and floor production. Coordinate with Convention Services, Banquets, and outside production partners.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Resolve audio, video, network, lighting, and control-system issues professionally under live-event pressure. Inspect and maintain equipment; keep storage, workspaces, and inventories organized; and handle and track company assets properly.
  • Guest and Client Relations: Provide technical guidance and exceptional hospitality to clients, planners, presenters, exhibitors, and guests, resolving concerns promptly, calmly, and professionally.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
