Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Accurately schedules tests; obtains films and reports.
- →Assists physicians and/or nurses to room patients, obtain vital signs, set patient up on MyChart and report findings to medical assistant or RN.
- →Collaborates with members of the health care team to assist in obtaining outside records prior to or during clinic visit as delegated by the medical assistant, RN, or physician.
- →Maintains medical records; distributes reports and correspondence; files, photocopies, and processes forms (e.g. FMLA and Short-term disability paperwork) related to medical charts.
- →Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of examination rooms; stocks assigned areas and ensures par levels of supplies are maintained; checks and completes required logs and equipment such as refrigerator logs, eyewash logs, emergency/crash carts, suction and other required checks.
- →Performs clerical duties such as greeting patients; registration; scheduling; and answering phones.
- →Performs in the role of chaperone during sensitive examinations or when requested
- →Performs vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures and documents in medical record
- →Assist in the transport of patients
- →Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

- High School Graduate or GED.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- At least 6 months of Health Care or clinic office job-related experience. OR
- Enrolled in an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) (Non-Clinical) - American Heart Association (AHA)
