Kayne Anderson, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California, is a leading alternative investment management team focused on real estate, credit, infrastructure, and energy. With a team defined by an entrepreneurial and resilient culture, Kayne’s investment philosophy is to pursue cash flow‐oriented niche strategies where knowledge and sourcing advantages enable us to deliver above average, risk‐adjusted returns. Kayne manages $43 billion in assets (as of June 30, 2026) for institutional investors, family offices, high net worth and retail clients, and employs 350 professionals.

Kayne’s dedicated energy private equity team has been investing in energy private equity since 1998 and manages approximately $7 billion of energy-focused capital across multiple funds and strategies. Kayne held the final close for its latest energy private equity fund, KPEIF III, in Q2 2025, successfully securing $2.25 billion of Limited Partner commitments (largest fundraise since inception). KPEIF III is Kayne’s third flagship fund since launching the private energy income strategy a decade ago (eleventh energy-focused flagship private equity fund).
