LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Sr. Specialist, Logistics Support

Responsible for the review and development of TMRs/ TMOs, logistical plans, policies, and procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services.

Responsibilities

  • →Recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform the logistics functions of the project. 
  • →Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
  • →Troubleshoots problem areas in logistics and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solutions to management. 
  • →Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. 
  • →Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of performance. 
  • →Coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regards to logistical functions performed under contract.
  • →Battle tracks all LSO-Trans mission support. 
  • →Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently possesses a USG Secret clearance or be able to successfully obtain one.
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Must possess a valid State Real ID.
  • Experience in the TMR (Transportation Movement request) process.
  • Experience on Command Post of the future (CPOF) / Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE).
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access and Power Point.
  • Experience in the TMO (Transportation Movement Order) process.

Pay
​Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation: $76,300 - $114,400

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
