KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

The Senior Space Technology & Microelectronics SME provides subject matter expertise on foreign space industrial bases, microelectronics production ecosystems, supply chains, and emerging technology developments supporting strategic defense capabilities.

• →Assess foreign space-to-ground technology ecosystems.
• →Analyze microelectronics manufacturing capabilities and supply chains.
• →Evaluate dependencies, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities in critical technology sectors.
• →Support technology forecasting and long-range threat assessments.
• →Conduct engineering-level reviews of advanced systems and components.
• →Develop strategic intelligence products and executive briefings.

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Microelectronics, or related field.
• 10+ years of technical intelligence or engineering experience.
• Experience evaluating industrial base and technology development programs.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance

• PhD in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
• Intelligence Community or defense space program experience.
• Experience with semiconductor production and advanced manufacturing.
