The warehouse clerk will handle receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations. This position is temporary, with an initial assignment of at least six months. The assignment may be extended based on business needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Accept incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists
- →Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor
- →Maintain up-to-date inventory records in warehouse management systems ERP software
- →Pick, pack, and label outbound orders accurately, following packaging standards
- →Arrange and store products to maximize space and efficiency
- →Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and compliant with safety protocols
- →Safely operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- →Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
- →Collaborate with other departments, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods
- →Communicate shipping updates, delays, or issues to relevant parties
- →Follow safety procedures, participate in training, and report hazards
- →Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum High School Diploma or GED/equivalent required
- At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience or equivalent required
- Forklift certification strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as required, routinely lifting up to 50lbs with periods of prolonged standing
- Must be a US Citizen
This position is 100% onsite at our Brownsville, TX location.
