Salary Range: $22-24 per hour depending upon experience and education

Position Summary:
Under the direction of Loan Servicing Manager, the incumbent position will execute a range of complex tasks to ensure accurate and timely servicing of the Bank's loan portfolio. Such duties include but are not limited to; compliance with state and federal laws, to ensure that regulations and Bank lending policies and procedures are followed. Working alongside fellow staff to ensure the collateral portfolio is properly protected, and to facilitate superior customer service. The incumbent must possess technological skills with a thorough knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to a loan servicing platform, power point, excel, and word, to assist with projects, audits, system testing, as well as preparation and updating of departmental procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
- Processing of Paid Off Loans: Prepare all lien releases and satisfactions, and mail to Clerk of Courts for filing/recording. Preparing paid loan customer letters, and imaging. Maintain proper file retention after Loan is paid off per policy and procedures (verify documents are scanned, maintain proper reporting logs, add post it notes in system, prepare and coordinate file for shredding.
- Prepare and mail lien requests or any other security documents for recording/filing to the Clerk of Court
- Processing Loan Payments and Line of Credit and construction Loan Advances as received from Branches, email or workflow. (Portfolio/Purchased Loans)
- Process Partial Release of Loan/Mortgage request (Prepare release/satisfaction & update System)
- Process System Maintenance of Loan Details, collateral, Coding received via the Workflow system, or email.
- Loan Servicing Email Inbox & Calls: All servicing staff shall tag and address incoming requests as received and Assist customers and branches with calls for requests for information or questions. Duties include but are not limited to; Loan Payoff Quotes, Auto Transfers, Verification of Mortgage Requests, Process Returned Check Notification, Processing of Returned mail, Addressing Deceased Borrowers & Successor in Interest. Assist with Projects, system testing and Audits. (as per procedures including cross-review by fellow teammates)
- On Boarding of New Loans- Support Team as back-up on booking Residential, Commercial, and consumer Loans
- Reconciliations: Process and Balance Tickets/ BTE's/Checks as needed. Along with staff members alternate on the Loan Servicing General Ledger Daily Balancing.
- Imaging-upload, scanning of Documents (including signed Originals*), maintenance, new loans, and properly file original files per procedures. * Address and update AOD (Awaiting original Documents) ticklers upon receipt.
- Adherence to internal policies, as well as existing and ever-changing regulatory requirements.
Competencies:
- Associate Degree in business or finance (or) Minimum of 3 years – formal training or hands on experience in loan servicing and administration.
- History of multi-tasking, accurately tracking information, and follow-through
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as accomplish work assignments independently under tight schedules, including but not limited to projects, system testing, audits.
- Quick learner
- Organizational Support- Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.
- Must be confident, and continually work to improve skills to inspire and motivate others.
- Basic math to accurately process transactions and assist with manual calculations when required.
- Must have a working knowledge of Basic Office Equipment.
- Must be proficient with use of Word and Excel.
- Must have working knowledge using a loan servicing platform, such as Fiserv Signature, and ability (initiative) to learn existing and new software.
- Must have good Problem-Solving Skills
- Basic Knowledge of lending compliance and insurance related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate Degree in business or finance (or) Minimum of 3 years – formal training or hands on experience in loan servicing and administration.
Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position frequently will be required to perform problem resolution, and communicate with both internal and external customers. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 80 percent of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
