Keystone Solutions is seeking a skilled consultant for a critical project involving the decommissioning of an ADABAS/Natural database environment. This consultancy mission will take place at a client site, where you will play a vital role in the digital transformation efforts of our client, focusing on modernizing processes and enhancing operational support.

Responsibilities

→Analyze existing legacy processes and interpret data objects accurately.
→Develop technical modules for data extraction, transformation, replication, and validation towards a new Linux platform.
→Ensure the BS2000 environment and the Linux environment function in parallel and as synchronously as possible.
→Test and document necessary components to make existing data and new data streams reliably available on the new platform.
→Conduct testing and validation, including technical test scenarios, source and target data comparisons, reconciliation checks, and documentation of test results and corrective actions.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the BS2000 mainframe environment, particularly Natural and ADABAS.
Ability to work with limited documentation and analyze existing programs, jobs, objects, and data streams independently.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work due to the critical nature of the data.
Proactive approach to identifying missing information, signaling risks, and proposing solutions.
Ability to prioritize tasks within a complex environment with multiple databases and technical dependencies.
Test-oriented mindset to ensure data is transferred correctly, completely, timely, and reliably.
