Product Owner Consultant

Mission Overview:

The Product Owner consultancy mission is offered by Keystone Solutions for a client in the financial sector. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will represent our company on-site, working directly with the client to drive the development and adoption of their enterprise AI assistant and agent platform.Responsibilities:

• Define and continuously evolve the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the AI assistant platform.
• Translate strategic objectives into a prioritized and actionable product backlog.
• Identify opportunities to increase employee productivity and business value through AI capabilities.
• Drive the development of core platform capabilities, contextual agents, AI use cases, and agent ecosystems.
• Ensure alignment between the platform’s evolution and the client’s AI strategy, business objectives, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor market trends, emerging AI technologies, and employee needs to identify innovation opportunities.
• Own and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring priorities maximize value delivery.
• Define product objectives, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize developments based on business value, user impact, technical feasibility, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the development team fully understands business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Validate delivered functionalities and formally accept sprint deliverables.
• Make prioritization and scope decisions when trade-offs are required.
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, IT teams, Data & AI teams, Risk, Legal, Compliance, HR, and Transformation Office.
• Align stakeholders around a shared vision and roadmap.
• Gather, consolidate, and prioritize feedback from end users and business departments.
• Represent the platform in governance forums, steering committees, and strategic AI discussions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions.
• Drive adoption and engagement of the platform and associated contextual agents.
• Define and monitor business and product KPIs, including Monthly Active Users, Weekly Active Users, number of conversations and interactions, user satisfaction, value realization and productivity gains, agent adoption and usage metrics.
• Ensure product investments translate into measurable business outcomes.
• Promote a user-centric culture focused on continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, review, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement sessions).
• Continuously assess feedback, usage insights, and delivered functionality to improve the product.
• Foster experimentation, learning, and iterative delivery.
• Ensure product quality, operation stability, and consistency across releases.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Responsible AI principles, data protection requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Balance innovation with risk management and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with model governance, security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure trustworthy AI deployment.
• Promote transparency, explainability, and responsible use of AI capabilities.

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data & AI, or related fields.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Agile Product Management, AI/Data Analytics or Digital Transformation certifications.
• Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking.
• At least 6 years of Product Ownership/Product Management, proven experience delivering products using Agile methodologies.
• Mandatory technical experience: Product Management and Agile delivery, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and enterprise knowledge retrieval, AI Agent and multi-agent orchestration concepts, Prompt engineering and conversational design, AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety mechanisms, AI evaluation frameworks (quality, grounding, hallucination, accuracy, relevance), AI observability, monitoring, and performance measurement.
• Preferable technical experience: Responsible AI principles, AI governance, and risk management, API-based integrations and AI ecosystem architecture, Enterprise AI platforms and copilots, Agentic AI solutions, Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, Data analytics and experimentation frameworks, Enterprise software delivery.
• Mandatory business experience: Strategic product management, Stakeholder management at senior leadership level, Budget and investment management, Change management and adoption programs, Business case development and value realization tracking, Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Preferable business experience: Knowledge of banking products and processes, Experience in AI transformation initiatives.

• Language requirements: English fluent written and spoken; Dutch and French are a plus.
