Keystone Solutions is seeking a Product Owner for mobile police applications to join a dynamic consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves working closely with a team responsible for developing and supporting applications that facilitate local police work, such as FOCUS, which enables officers to perform various tasks from their mobile devices.


Responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will:

  • Understand the applications thoroughly from both business and functional perspectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for users.
  • Gather and analyze business and functional requirements for the applications you oversee.
  • Collaborate with the supplier-side Product Owner.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Program Manager.

As a Business Analyst, your tasks will include:

  • Participating in business and functional analyses of new modules.
  • Modeling ASIS and TOBE processes (BPMN).
  • Gathering and analyzing business and functional needs.
  • Coordinating impact analyses (legal, security, etc.).
  • Collaborating with internal and external suppliers responsible for technical development.
  • Communicating with various stakeholders and adapting your communication style accordingly.
  • Bridging the gap between business and technical/security teams.

Strong autonomy, proactivity, and reliability, including:

  • A keen sense of responsibility and ownership over the product, decisions, and outcomes.
  • A solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate problems and act swiftly.

You will support end-users in utilizing the various tools available to them by:

  • Participating in or conducting information/training sessions.
  • Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
  • Communicating updates, changes, and issues through designated channels.
  • Providing second-line support.

The ability to facilitate change and support the adoption of new solutions or practices, including:

  • Comfort in complex environments requiring diplomacy, tact, and resilience.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong relational skills that promote collaboration and team alignment.
  • Experience in facilitating product discussions, presentations, and training sessions.
  • The ability to influence without direct authority and rally around a common product vision.

Strong analytical skills to leverage data, trends, and user feedback to guide product decisions, including:

  • Identifying opportunities, risks, and issues, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Excellent synthesis skills to transform complex information into clear, actionable insights and requirements.

A client-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of user journeys, frustrations, and needs, including:

  • A value-oriented approach that balances user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.

Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple topics and stakeholders simultaneously, including:

  • The ability to prioritize effectively based on criteria, context, and strategic vision.

High adaptability in dynamic and evolving environments, including:

  • The ability to adjust priorities and approaches based on feedback and context.
  • An agile mindset focused on continuous improvement of processes, products, and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with a requirement to be present in the office at least twice a week, depending on tasks and team agreement. Remote work is permitted from home or at the employer's location in Belgium. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising both internal and external collaborators.
